Gladys Geraldine McDonough
Gladys Geraldine McDonough, 89, of Washington, died Sunday, December 19, 2021, in her home.
She was born March 24, 1932, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Louis Cole and Betty Bulla Cole.
Mrs. McDonough was a homemaker and farmer. She enjoyed gardening and was famous for her collard greens and okra. Full of grit and grace, she loved being a great-grandmother and was lovingly referred to as Gigi by her great-grandchildren.
On January 22, 1950, she married Everett Glenn McDonough, who died March 4, 2016.
Surviving are three daughters, Gladys Diane Howard (Ed), Wanda Naomi Six (Dan), and Robin Mae Cole; two sisters, Linda Hebb, and Patsy Cannon; grandchildren, Dan Six, Jr., Melissa Six (Todd), Everett James McDonough (Heidi), Nicole Lynn McDonough, Richard Cole III (Cathy), Christopher Cole, Kira McDonough (Eric); great-grandchildren, Daniel Six, Ty Sefsick, Sadie McDonough, Easton McDonough, Naliyah Cole, Vanida Cole, Micah McDonough, and Cora McDonough; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a son, Everett Ty McDonough; great-grandson, Alexander Cole; and brothers, Tony, Robert, and Albert Cole.
At the request of the deceased, all services were private.
