Lisa Marie Martin

Lisa Marie Martin, 62, of Washington, died Saturday, December 18, 2021, in her home.

She was born March 6, 1959, in Washington Hospital, a daughter of the late Delories Hull.

Lisa was a graduate of Wash High, and went on to study at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She later served in the United States Army as a Photo and Layout Specialist.

After her service in the U.S. Army, Lisa worked in the retail industry for most of her career, and was retired from JC Penney Department Stores.

Lisa enjoyed quilting and was a long-time member of the Martha Washington Quilters. She was also a calligraphist and enjoyed writing, as well as working with her hands as a masseuse.

Lisa was also very family oriented and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer (Theodore) Harris, of Anchorage, Alaska; as well as a son, Kalen Martin, of Washington.

She is also survived by four brothers, Michael (Joy) Hull, of Washington, Phillip R. Hull, of Warner Springs, Calif., Aaron (Tracy) Hull, of Akron, and Richard Hull, of Altoona; as well as two sisters, Mitchelle Hull, of Dallas, Tex., and Jon’a Jacobs Holly, of North Carolina.

In addition, she is survived by two grandchildren, Azia Palmer and Mckenzie Palmer; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Olivia Hull.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of a funeral service, Monday, December 27, at Davenport Funeral & Cremation Services, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington.

Private interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will follow at a later date.

Visitors are asked to please wear a mask while inside of the funeral home.
