Mary Jane Mangini
Mary Jane Mangini, 84, of Atlasburg, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021. Mary Jane was born in 1937, in Washington, the daughter of the late Robert and Violet Schultz Bissett.
Mary Jane had a passion for creating art and enjoyed baking. She occasionally made wedding cakes, worked as a dietary manager at The Presbyterian Home, and retired while cooking for the nuns at Sisters of St. Francis Convent.
In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Mangini; and her siblings, Violet “Nooks” Johnson, Betty Crites, Becky Moss, and James Robert “Jim Bob” Bissett, Jr.
Mary Jane is survived by her son, Shawn (Michelle) Mundell, of Burgettstown; her daughter, Kristy Mundell of Fairborn, Ohio; her granddaughter, Mary “Nikki” (Ben) Ramsey, of Hanover, Md.; and six great-grandchildren, Evan, Alex, Emily, Jack, Sarah, and Fiona Ramsey; she is also survived by several nieces; nephews; cousins; great-nieces; and great-nephews. Mary Jane loved her family very much.
No funeral service will be held. Instead, Mary Jane will be laid to rest at a private burial at Claysville Cemetery with her parents.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Concordia Hospice in Mary Jane’s memory, as they provided her comfort in her final days.
