Steve Levandosky Jr.
Steve “Butch” Levandosky Jr., 78, of Finleyville, died Thursday, December 16, 2021, in his home, after a brief illness.
Born April 5, 1943, in Sykesville, he was the son of the late Steve Sr. and Veronica Zelenski Levandosky.
Steve began working in construction, and then opened Skeets Service Station in Finleyville, where he has continued working for the past 34 years.
A member of the Library Sportsman’s Club, he always had enjoyed racing cars on the dirt track circuit, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors.
Surviving are his wife Linda Cushey Levandosky, whom he married May 30, 1964; a son and daughter-in-law, Steven T. “Skeets” (Anastasiya) Levandosky, of Finleyville; and a daughter and son-in-law, Debrah (Corey) Behanna, of New Eagle; two granddaughters, Jessica and Elizabeth Levandosky, and two grandsons Cody and Matthew Behanna; and a great-granddaughter, Shelby Devers.
Preceding him in death was his brother, Richard Levandosky.
At the family’s request, there will be no public services. The Marshall Marra Funeral Home, 216 Chess Street, Monongahela, 724-258-6767, was in charge of the arrangements.
