Martha M. Miller
Martha M. Miller, 94, of Claysville, was carried home by the loving arms of Jesus, on Thursday, December 23, 2021.
She was born on June 27, 1927, in Wheeling, W.Va., the daughter of the late William and Florence Craig Britt.
Martha was a graduate of Hickory High School, and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Claysville Christian Church, where she enjoyed attending church activities. She loved square dancing and taking care of the farm.
Martha was married to Gaylord Miller, who died in 2007.
Surviving are sons, Robert (Jana) Roberts, of Claysville, and Raymond (Lynne) Miller, of Prosperity; daughters, Ruth Davis, and Linda Davis, both of Pleasant Grove; daughter-in-law, Jill C. Miller; grandchildren, Marshall Roberts (Brooke), Brian Davis (Shirley), Bradley Davis (Melissa), Beth Ann Shriver (Ray), DR Miller (Lee Ann), Daniel Miller (Shelly), Laurel Miller, Andrew Miller (Lauren), Ian Miller (Carla), Emilie Miller, Sue Jenkins (Tom), Hank Davis (Niki), Jimmie Davis (Michelle), Eddie Davis, Dalton Shriver (Marissa), and Mason Shriver; many great- grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Martha was preceded in death by her sons, Donald Miller, Richard Bell; daughter, Lois Jean Davis; and sisters, Mary Schaffer, Grace Snedeker, and Joann Balsinger.
A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 11 a.m. to noon in Claysville Christian Church, with Pastor Michael Fairchild officiating.
Interment will be private.
