H. Jeanne Hordies, 86, of McMurray, passed away peacefully, Thursday, December 23, 2021, in McMurray Hills Manor.

She was born February 11, 1935, in Houston, a daughter of John H. and Martha Page Bodmer.

Jeanne was a graduate of Chartiers High School, and a member of the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church.

On January 5, 1957, she married Michael R. Hordies, who died August 28, 2016.

Surviving are four children, Michael Hordies (Tracy), of South Lake, Tex., Lynda Natale (Ronald), and Dana Hordies, both of Dallas, Tex., and Victor Hordies of Pasedena, calif.; two grandchildren, Steven and Kara Natale; and two step-grandchildren, Kristen Mins and Ryan Heurrman.

Deceased are a brother, John H. Bodmer, Jr.; and a sister, Barbara Bodmer.

Friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m., the time of service, Thursday, December 30, 2021, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston. Interment will be private in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
