Dorothy Walchuck Cwiklinski
Dorothy Walchuck Cwiklinski, 94, of Canonsburg, died Tuesday, December 28, 2021.
She was born January 18, 1927, in Westland, a daughter of Frank and Agnes Pustelak Walchuck.
She attended the former St. Genevieve Church, in Canonsburg, and was a member of St. Oscar Romero Parish, and attended St. Patrick Church.
Ms. Cwiklinski was in a women’s bowling league, Wednesday Afternoon Allstars, for over 40 years, and served as the treasurer.
Surviving are her sons, Joseph Cwiklinski, and Frank (Barbara “Sue”) Cwiklinski, both of Canonsburg; her daughter, Mary Jane (Stephen) Vasko, of Eighty-Four; grandchildren, Kelly (Craig) Friday, Brian (Angela) Vasko, Sarah (Colin) Peck; great grandchildren, Elle Friday, Lydia and Noah Peck, several nieces and nephews.
On May 2, 1948, she married her loving husband of 67 years, Albert Cwiklinski, who died on September 1, 2015.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was the last of her immediate family, and was preceded in death by her sisters, Anna Blavos, Mary Frank, Sophie Hamler; brothers, George Walchuck, Walter Walchuck, Frank Walchuck, John Walchuck, and Joseph Walchuck.
