Jeanie B. Jennings
Jeanie B. Jennings, 89, of Washington, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021, in Southmont of Presbyterian Seniorcare.
She was born March 27, 1931, in Centerville, a daughter of the late Peter and Regina Kundrick.
She was a 1949 graduate of Centerville High School and worked at The Washington Hospital until her retirement in 1993.
She was a long-time member of Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church.
Jeanie was a Cub Scout leader for many years. She also enjoyed her card club, league bowling and spending time with her family.
She had a great sense of humor and loved to joke and laugh. No one was a stranger for long in her presence.
On April 25, 1951, she married Myron Craft Jennings, who died January 6, 1977.
Surviving are two daughters, Valerie (Thomas) Shetler and Barbara (Robert) Orndoff; and two sons, Scott Jennings and Kenneth (Kathi) Jennings; 13 grandchildren, Matthew (Tiffany) Shetler, Dana (Daniel) Jones, Kelley Shetler, Drew Shetler, Carrie (William) Nabors, Michelle (Stephen) Ringer, Bobbi Orndoff, Christina (Jeff) Cavrak, Nicholas Jennings, Rebecca Jennings, Aaron Jennings, Brittany (Jacob) Varner and Patrick (Shianne) Jennings; 15 great-grandchildren, Cadence, Jaedan, Ella, Evelyn, Elina, Madison, Colton, Elliona, Parker, Carter, Kylynn, Brynlee, Blakeley, Jaxton, and Brael; two brothers, Andrew (Alice) Kundrick and Alexander (Gloria) Kundrick; and one sister, MaryAnn Nystrom.
All services are private.
