Bennie Bryant Mowery, 43, of Fredericktown, passed away at home, Wednesday, February 3, 2021. He was born August 20, 1977, a beloved son of the late Lewis E. Mowery Jr. and Dollie Mowery.

Bennie was a graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School. He helped his parents and younger siblings build the family home, hauling stone, working the sawmill and learning many other trades from his parents. He went on to restore the stonework on a neighboring farm. He was a jack-of-all-trades; a self-taught mechanic, he worked on “all” of his family’s cars. He continued in construction with his brothers.

He loved old westerns, music and was a Steelers and Penguins fan. His family meant the absolute world to him. Bennie had many friends and always helped anyone in need. He had the biggest heart and a smile you couldn’t forget.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Ben is survived by the love of his life, Vickilynn Ferris; her children, Robert and Stephanie; and his dog, Bowser. Also left to cherish his memory, in addition to his mother, are his brothers and sisters, Bonnie Malpassi (Tim), Lewie Mowery III (Katie), Randy Jericho (Roxie), Becky Husak (Mark), Dennis Mowery (Amber), Brianne Murr; numerous nieces and nephews; and family and friends whom he loved unconditionally and would do anything for any one of them.

The family will receive friends in the Blainesburg Bible Church, 104 4th Boulevard, Brownsville, from noon until 2 p.m., the hour of service, Monday, February 8, with Rev. Frank Menhart officiating.

Interment in Buckingham Cemetery is private and at the convenience of his family.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc, Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, California.
