Dolores Petratus, 91, of Carmichaels, died Tuesday, February 2, 2021, in the Uniontown Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Petratus was born September 23, 1929, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Angelo and Rose Molinaro Basile.

Dolores devoted her life to her family. She was an excellent baker, and shared her pastries with her friends and neighbors. She was also a caregiver for many elderly people in their homes.

Dolores was a devout Catholic and a member of the St. Matthias Church of Carmichaels.

Mrs. Petratus is survived by a son, Anthony Morrell (Mindy) of Melbourne, Fla.; two daughters, Judy Phillips (John) of Rices Landing, and Kathy Rice (Harold) of Clarksville; several grand- and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Deceased are her husband, Joe Petratus; and granddaughter Kim Shaffer.

She was the last of her family.

Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., when prayers of transfer will be said, Wednesday, February 10, in the Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320, (724)966-5100. A Mass will follow at 1 p.m. in St. Matthias Church, 408 Route 88, Carmichaels.

Interment will follow in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels.
