Louis Benedict Aquilino Jr.

Louis Benedict Aquilino Jr., 92, of Washington, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021.

He was born April 6, 1928, in Canonsburg, a son of Louis and Eva Mildred Kanzius Aquilino Sr.

Mr. Aquilino was a graduate of Canonsburg High School Class of 1946.

Hunting and fishing, gardening and lawn care were some of the things he enjoyed.

Mr. Aquilino was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Washington.

Washington Steel Company employed him as a crane operator/steel worker, where he was a member of the United Steel Workers of America Local #7139.

On July 31, 1948, in Kentucky, he married Emma C. Comito, who preceded him in death March 6, 2010.

Surviving are four children, Jan (Blaine) Henderson of Washington, Susan (Bill) Budavich of Washington, Louis Alan (Lisa) Aquilino of Washington, and Samuel (Lonna) Aquilino also of Washington.

Also surviving is a sister, Dolores (Sam) Mayberry of Washington; eight grandchildren, Blaine R. Henderson, Jaime L. (Craig) Cowieson, James E. (Kelly) Tush III, Owen W. (Megan) Budavich, Kristi (Robert) Knapp, Andrea (fiance Kenny Dehan) Aquilino, Ashley Marie (Patrick) Dease, Samuel Michael (Taylor Sari) Aquilino; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Due to the pandemic, the family has requested that visitation and funeral services be private.

Entombment will be held in Washington Cemetery Garden Mausoleum.

A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date after the pandemic subsides.

Arrangements are in the care of DeAngelo Funeral Home in Washington.
