Aaron Floyd Long

Aaron Floyd Long, 78, of Salem, Ohio, died at 11:54 a.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2021, in the Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem, Ohio.

He was born Saturday, April 4, 1942, in Sutton, W.Va., a son of the late Arnold James Long and Erma Bucklen Long.

Mr. Long enjoyed antique cars and going to car shows. He loved country music and Karaoke. He worked for 37 years for General Motors at Lordstown, Ohio as a forklift operator in the auto body department.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Cain Long, whom he married April 30, 1961.

Also surviving are two sisters, Pearl Stewart of Waynesburg and Barbara Cooke of Blacksville, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are one sister, Linda Cool; and two brothers, Albert Long and Delmas Long.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, February 15, in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner/Director, 197 N. Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, where private services will be conducted with Pastor Matthew Murry officiating. While in the funeral home, masks must be worn and social distancing will be followed. Burial will be in Oakmont Cemetery, Waynesburg. Information is at www.milliken-throckmortonfh.com.
