On Sunday, February 14, 2021, a gentle soul passed away peacefully in his sleep.

Mark Allen Popp, “Snapper,” was born November 20, 1958, and lived to be 62 years old. He lived his entire life in Canonsburg, graduated from Canon-McMillan High School in 1976 and worked 30 plus years as a riveter for All Clad Metals.

Mark was a terrific cook and an avid outdoorsman, loving both fishing and hunting. He was a faithful fan of our Pittsburgh sports teams and enjoyed his social memberships at the Polish National Union Club, the French Club and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2026.

Mark leaves behind his loving daughter, Elizabeth Popp; his older brother, David; and his sister, Diane (Terry) Felton; and several nieces and nephews.

Mark Allen Popp was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Popp; and his adoring mother, Irene Yarkosky Popp.

Following cremation, a private family service will be held in St. Patrick Cemetery in the spring and a celebration of Mark’s life will be given at a date to be determined.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra LFD, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120.
