Opal V. Wright

Opal V. Wright, 83, of Eighty Four, died Sunday, February 14, 2021 in her home.
She was born on March 26, 1937 in Washington, a daughter of the late Cleve and Wilda Gaye Shuman Loar.
She loved gardening and her flowers.
On October 24, 1994 she married Raymond “Butch” L. Wright Jr.
Surviving in addition to her husband are four children, Sandy Church, Sharon (Ronald) Keener, Bill Malarkey, and Paul Malarkey; two stepchildren, Tonia R. Casterline, and Michael Ray Wright; seven grandchildren, Ronald Keener Jr., Tricia Church, Matthew Keener, William Malarkey, Crystal Rush, Alex Malarkey, and Claudia Malarkey; three step grandchildren, James Casterline, Jason Casterline, and Jessica Thomas; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Darlene Penrod; brother, Robert Loar; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents are a sister, Leona Dye; six brothers, Harold, Richard, Gerald, Donald, David, and Andrew Loar; and a daughter-in-law, Robin Malarkey.
Family and friends will be received 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. the time of the funeral service, Wednesday, February 17, in Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington with Rev. Rick Bruckner officiating.
