Pamela Ganster Knowlson
Pamela Diane Ganster Knowlson, 66, of Washington, passed away surrounded by her family at 2:38 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2021, in the Washington Health System, after a lengthy and valiant battle with COVID-19.
Pam was born August 24, 1954, in New Kensington, a daughter of Vernon and Martha Rush Reedy.
On September 9, 2020, she married her best friend, Ken Knowlson, who survives.
Pam worked for many years in various positions at the Washington Health System, most recently in the business office.
She enjoyed visiting consignment shops, traveling, bicycling, and was a karaoke superstar.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Eric (Amber) Ganster and Joe Ganster (Krystal Fritzsch); one daughter, Keri Ganster (Chad Wilson); and stepchildren Megan and Scott Knowlson; grandsons Maddix, Aydin, Jason, Julian, Devon and Stuart; granddaughters Mackenzie, Alexa and Alivia. Also surviving are her brother, Barry Reedy; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are three brothers, Dennis, Willie and Randy; and a nephew, Barry L. Reedy.
Due to COVID restrictions, all services are private.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
