Margaret Rohaley Bugelavicius Belvis

Margaret “Muggsy” Belvis, formerly of Denbeau Heights, Brownville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in Premier Nursing Home Washington, where she spent the last few years.
Margaret was born June 25, 1929, in Brownsville, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Krilosky Rohaley of Daisytown.
Margaret worked at RCA making radio parts during WWII and later also worked at Groceryland & Paci’s in Malden.
She enjoyed making Halloween costumes for her children and won in multiple parades in Brownsville and California. She was an active Bowler at Brownsville Bowling Lanes & also performed in multiple plays at the Brownsville Civic Theatre. She enjoyed Bingo & she was well known for her beautiful cakes for weddings and birthdays. She enjoyed her doll collection. She loved to travel the world with her husband John, especially Australia, South Africa and Spain, where she made many lifelong friends.
Her devoted husband John “JB” Bugelavicius Belvis was the love of her life and they had celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary in 2017 before his sudden passing. Muggsy & JB were the perfect couple!
Surviving are her two children, Mark Belvis, of Brownsville, and Dara Glagola (Joe) of Port St Lucie, Fla.; grandson Mike Belvis and daughter- in-law, Jessie Watson Belvis of Fredericktown; granddaughter, Rhianne Glagola and only great grandson, Trevor Glagola, both of Port St Lucie, Fla.; a brother, Joseph Rohaley of New Cumberland, W. Va.; a sister, Gaylynn Carnello Wertz of Yorba Linda, Calif.; multiple nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband; are two granddaughters, Jara Danylle Glagola Gilbert and Joy Irene Belvis; three brothers, James Rohaley, Mike Rohaley Jr. and David Rohaley; a sister, Mary “Marish” Krisfalusy.
At the request of her family, there will be no public visitation. Due to CDC guidelines and COVID-related restrictions, a Memorial Service and Celebration of her Life will be held at a time, place and date to be determined by the family. Interment will be at Phillipsburg Cemetery alongside her husband John & two granddaughters, Jara & Joy.
