George E. Corbin Jr., 74, of New Eagle, died Thursday, December 31, 2020 in the Monongahela Valley Hospital after a short illness.
He was born August 20, 1946 in New Eagle, the son of George Elmer, Sr. and Bertha Kozak Corbin.
George retired from the Union Township Road Department, where he was employed for numerous years. He enjoyed watching the Steelers, fishing, and hunting. He was a member of the former Italian Mutual Benefit Society in Black Diamond.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Miller Corbin, with whom he celebrated thirty four years of marriage on July 19; daughter, Jimmie Rach and husband, Brian, of McMurray; two granddaughters, Abigail and Emma Rach; and his twin sister, Rose Belak, of McDonald.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Vignoli.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 4 in the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 5 with Pastor Kenneth Kirby officiating.
