Patrick J. Cordisco
Patrick James Cordisco, 93, of Findlay, Ohio, formerly of Canonsburg, died Sunday, December 27, 2020, in his home.
He was born November 22, 1927, in Delmont, a son of the late Dominick and Connie DiBatista Cordisco.
He attended Penn State University. Mr. Cordisco was a member of the St. Patrick worship site of St. Oscar Romero Parish. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post 191, the Eagles, and the Elks, and the Sons of Italy in Canonsburg. He enjoyed golfing, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins fan.
Throughout Mr. Cordisco’s working career, he worked an ironworker, he worked at McEdison where he was a union representative, he served as a safety engineer for PennDot, and as an auditor for the state of Pennsylvania.
Surviving are his son, Rick (Suzy Evans) Cordisco, of Findlay, Ohio; grandchildren, Kelsey (Ryan) Puhl, of Bethel Park, Leah (Dewey) Evans, Logan (Katie) Evans, and Liam (Andrianna) Evans; nephew, Larry Cordisco; two nieces, Esther Cornia, and Carol Carelli.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of over 55 years, Thelma Fenimore Cordisco, who died April 7, 2013; his sisters, Elizabeth Cordisco, Vercina DeFrisco, Yolanda Fruect, Pauline Devenzio, Adele Novicki; and his brother, Reno Cordisco.
