Jane Lenhart

Jane Lenhart, 98, of Strabane, formerly of Houston, passed away, Friday, January 1, 2021, in the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born August 24, 1922, in Minersville, a daughter of Martin and Mary Lutinsky.
She had been employed at the original Angelo’s Restaurant in Washington as a waitress and cook. Later, she was employed at the Bon Ton Children’s Store in the Washington Mall.
Jane loved music of all kinds, from Garth Brooks to Doo Wop. She was probably Pink Floyd’s oldest fan.
Mrs. Lenhart loved to dance, listening to music and flowers, always having one of the most beautiful yards in Houston. She enjoyed the change of seasons and you would often see her shoveling snow for the neighbors.
Jane was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Bridgeville where she served on the volunteer committee. She volunteered for the Meals on Wheels program at the First United Presbyterian Church in Houston.
On April 18, 1967, she married John Lenhart, who died August 17, 2005.
Surviving are five children, Theodore Clark (Patricia) of Girard, Ohio, Richard Clark (Illona) of Hernando, Fla., Mary Lou Gorby (the late Glenn) of Loraine, Ohio, Diane Shuman (the late Ronald) of Strabane and Carol Ann Schussler (John) of Houston; 12 grandchildren, Tish, Cherie, Melissa, Teddy, Jennifer, Jill, Tito, Ricky, Tony, Jimmy, Darla and Rhonda; a Noah’s Ark full of great-grandchildren, over 100; and her grand-dogs, Carly and Fiona.
In addition to her parents and husband, an infant son, Billy is deceased.
At the request of the deceased and due to present circumstances, services will be private.
