Debra D. Szolek, 56, of Washington, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 31, 2020.

She was born November 23, 1964, in Washington, a daughter of the late Robert J. and Alberta Reese Szolek.

Debbie enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her family and friends. Her life was focused on her family. She was a very caring, compassionate and loving person.

She was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Heather Horn, and two sons, James Horn and Douglas Szolek, all of Washington; a brother, Robert Szolek; three sisters, Diane (Mark) Seemiller, Judy (Scott) Pettit and Rebecca Szolek; two granddaughters, Tahjanae and Riley; two grandsons, Jay’Dyn and Zay’Dyn; her companion and fiance, Matthew Morris; several aunts, an uncle, several nieces and nephews, three great-nephews, and many cousins; and her ex-husband, James W. Horn.

Deceased is her brother, Edward Szolek.
