Richard L. Moore, 76, of Marianna, died Saturday, January 2, 2021, in his home. He was born September 16, 1944, in Marianna, a son of the late Viard Thomas and Delphine Sidola Moore.
He was a 1962 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School. He then went on to Penn Commercial for accounting.
He worked at Fike Chevrolet for many years and then for the Pennsylvania Police Supply until his retirement in 2005. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by a son, Donald L. Crile of Fredericktown; two daughters, Shannon Cunningham of Marianna and Erin Minick of Summersville; sister Linda Moore of Waynesburg; brother Thomas E. Moore of West Alexander; eight grandchildren, MacKenzie, Madalynn, Ryan (who was very close and special to him), Brianna, Bethany, Kaylee, Tyler and Zachary; several nieces and nephews; and his furry companion, Jorgen.
Family and friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m., the time of a memorial service, Wednesday, January 6, in Nichol Funeral Home, 1728 Main Street, Marianna, with Pastor Tim Lindsay officiating.
