Dorothy L. Druga

Dorothy L. Druga, 95, of Southview, died Monday, January 11, 2021, in St. Clair Hospital.
She was born January 8, 1926, in Southview, a daughter of the late Tony and Minnie Boldt Slugo.
She was a member of Venice Presbyterian Church, secretary of the Sunday school, Slovene National Benefit Society #365 Southview, Ladies Auxiliary of Cecil #3 Volunteer Fire Company, McDonald-Cecil Senior Citizens.
She enjoyed baking, crocheting, bowling, bingo, the casino and watching Pittsburgh sports. She made more than 100 crocheted lap blankets as gifts for friends and family.
She worked as a cafeteria worker for Canon-McMillan School District at Cecil Elementary, retiring in 1990.
Surviving are daughter Linda (Bob) Feathers of Southview; son Andy (Shari McCullough) Druga Jr. of Southview; son-in-law Denny Shiflet Sr. of Spears; grandchildren Michael (Megan) Feathers of Crafton, Lindsey (Brian) Zarecky of Greensboro, N.C., Denny Shiflet,= Jr. (fiancee Valarie Higinbotham) of Rices Landing; great-granddaughter Lena Rose Zarecky of Greensboro; sister Ann DeBlander of Midway; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Andrew A. Druga in 2015; daughter Wendy Shiflet in 2020; and a brother, Tony Slugo.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 14, in Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 15, with Pastor Gary Chorpenning officiating.
Private interment will follow in the Venice Cemetery.
