Betty H. Dreyer

Betty H. Dreyer, 98, formerly of Bentleyville, passed away Thursday afternoon, January 14, 2021, in The Grand Residence, Upper St. Clair.
She was born November 14, 1922, in Bentleyville, a daughter of Joseph Wilbert and Sevilla Booth Huffman.
Mrs. Dreyer was a 1940 graduate of the Bentleyville High School. She later received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana State Teacher’s College in home economics.
For three years, she taught in the Hampton Township School District and later was a substitute teacher with the Bentworth School District and taught night classes at the Charleroi School District.
Mrs. Dreyer was the oldest member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bentleyville, where she was an elder, deacon and served on various church committees.
Her husband, William J. Dreyer, passed away March 31, 2006. They were married in Bentleyville December 19, 1944.
Surviving are her children, Lee Dreyer (Carol) of Butler, Chris Dreyer of Monroeville and Janine Ferguson (Dwight) of Upper St. Clair; seven grandchildren, Rebecca Quezada (Timothy), Leah Ferguson, Graham Ferguson (Elizabeth), Emily Dreyer, Caroline Dreyer, Kathleen Dreyer and Colleen Dreyer; six great-grandchildren, Ethan, Noah and Grayson Mosey, and Owen, Thomas and Wells Quezada.
Deceased is a granddaughter, Lauren Ferguson Mosey.
There will be no public visitation and the family will hold services privately.
Mrs. Dreyer’s service will be live streamed via the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home’s Facebook page beginning at 11 a.m. Monday, January 18.
