Joseph Steven Zaricki

Joseph Steven Zaricki, 74, of Canonsburg, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021, at his home, after a brief illness. He was born October 25, 1946, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Joseph and Mary Rebosky Zaricki.

Joe lived his entire life in Washington County. He was a 1964 graduate of Canon-McMillan Senior High School. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1971. He was a lifelong member of the Slovak Club. He enjoyed rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers, riding his motorcycle and hunting.

Joe was a member of the St. Patrick worship site of St. Oscar Romero Parish.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Holly Zaricki of Canonsburg and Kelly (Rafael) Zaricki Monedero of Sarasota, Fla.; grandchildren, Shaley (Scott) Zaricki Dailey and Riley Doyle; great-grandchildren, Brea, Brody and Hayden; sister, Rebecca Zaricki Walsh of Canonsburg; brother, Robert (Brenda) Zaricki of Chandler, Ind.; and five nephews and two nieces.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, is his son-in-law, Kevin Garbart.

Interment will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 25, in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, with military honors by the United States Navy.
