Abigail M. Quinn

Abigail Miller Quinn, 84, died Tuesday, January 12, 2021, in her home in Greensboro, N.C.
Gail was born November 11, 1936, in Houston, a daughter of Harry Alexander and Esther Reynolds Miller.
Gail graduated from Chartiers-Houston High School in 1954. She attended Bethany College, where she met and married her husband, Karl Quinn Jr. Following college, Karl and Gail had and raised four children. After raising her children, Gail began a 15-year career doing what she loved, working as an infant caregiver at a local daycare.
In all things Gail sought to create an atmosphere of celebration. Her creative touch was seen in her love of gardening and making all things beautiful. She cherished moments with her family and enjoyed a good laugh. Gail was actively involved at Christ United Presbyterian Church and in her community.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Alexander and Esther Reynolds Miller; three brothers, Harry A., C. Rodney and Roger A. Miller.
Gail is survived by her husband, Karl, of 63 years; her brother, Wilbur E. Miller; her children, Chet (Virginia) Quinn, Elizabeth (Rick) Trautman, Ken (Terrisa) Quinn and Margie (Bill) Payne; grandchildren Kristen (Bill) Pittman, Nathan (Rebecca) Quinn, Michael (Katie) Trautman, Amanda (Hisham) Elshahawi, Rebekah Quinn, Orien Quinn, Abigail and Rachel Payne; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
