Pauline Tropeck

Pauline Tropeck, 89, of McDonald, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021.

She was born October 3, 1931, in McDonald, a daughter of Anthony and Helen Hook Gibson.

Mrs. Tropeck was a nurse’s aide at Woodville State Hospital for over 25 years.

On May 26, 1952, she married Charles J. Tropeck, who passed away December 19, 2010.

Pauline enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with her family.

Surviving are three sons, David Tropeck of New Cumberland, W.Va., Terry Tropeck of Cheswick and Robert “Bob” Tropeck of McDonald; a brother, Walter Gibson of Bulger; and a sister, Darlene Chase of Burgettstown; five grandchildren, Wayne Jr, Nicole, Cody, Kellen and Cameron Tropeck; three great-grandchildren, Garett, Lilly and Urijah Wayne Robert Tropeck.

Deceased is a son, Wayne Tropeck Sr.; and a brother, Anthony “Toto” Gibson.

Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, PA 15057. A blessing service will follow at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
