Mary Virginia Tomsic Davis
Mary Virginia Tomsic Davis, 79, of Indian Land, S.C., formerly of Eighty Four, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021.
She was born September 30, 1941, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Novak Tomsic.
On March 12, 1968, she married John “Jack” Davis, who survives.
Mary was a 1959 graduate of Canonsburg High School and a graduate of Robert Morris University. She worked at Sears Service Center, McMurray, for 25 years. She was an avid reader and crossword aficionado and a member of Slovene National Benefit Society (SNPJ) Lodge 138, Strabane.
Surviving, along with her husband Jack, are two children, Jeff (Tina) Davis and Kelly (Rob) Csuhta; four grandchildren, Megan Davis, Robby Csuhta, Mikey Csuhta and Kaitlyn Csuhta.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Henry Tomsic; and a sister, Veda Snarey.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, in the Warchol Funeral Home, Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, 412-221-3333, where a funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m Friday, with the Rev. John Dykstra officiating. Interment to follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
