David Alan Saunders, 64, of Washington, formerly of Bethel Park, passed away Monday, July 19, 2021.
He was the beloved husband of Hsien Huei Huang-Saunders “Sally”; loving father of Damara (Bill) Van Beneden and Desire’ (Josh) Krawchyk; proud Pap Pap Dave to Will, Sara and Ellie Van Beneden; brother of Steve (Sharon) Saunders; uncle of Cara Saunders and friend of many at his camp in W.Va.
He was preceded by his parents, Will and Marilyn Saunders of Bethel Park.
Dave was a graduate of Bethel Park High School and longtime employee of 84 Lumber. With many accomplishments in his tool belt, he was a jack-of-all-trades and was truly your neighborhood “Tim the Toolman Taylor”. In his spare time, Dave also enjoyed boating, riding his side-by-side, hanging out at camp and helping others.
A memorial gathering will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 30, in Paul Henney Cremation & Funeral Tributes, 5570 Library Road, Bethel Park.
