Sheila Diane Lemley

Sheila Diane Lemley, 60, of Aleppo, died Sunday, May 30, 2021, in her residence.

She was born July 28, 1960, in Aliquippa, a daughter of the late Donald Roy McKahan and Martha Faye King McKahan.

Mrs. Lemley was an LPN and worked at both Greene County Memorial Hospital for 25 years and Rolling Meadows Nursing Home 14 years.

Surviving is her husband of 39 years, Richard Lemley, whom she married September 13, 1981. Also surviving are three children, Craig Lemley, Amy Daugherty and Amanda Lemley; seven grandchildren, Isaiah Merkley, Justice Grayson, Jasmine Grayson, Arianna Gipe, Jordan Stromeyer, Noah Lemley and Jocelyn Lemley; and one brother, Christopher McKahan.

Sheila was a 1980 graduate of Waynesburg College, where she earned her nursing degree and became an LPN. She enjoyed time with her family, her animals, and the many residents where she worked. She also looked forward to phone conversations with nephew Donald Junior.

She was a Protestant and will be remembered for her faith in God, her strong work ethic and the time she spent helping others even once she became sick. Sheila was a beautiful person inside and out and will be missed by many.

At the request of the deceased, there will not be any services.

The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, W.Va., is in charge of arrangements.
