Barbara A. Hatfield
Barbara A. Hatfield, 72, of Meadowlands, passed away peacefully, Saturday morning, June 5, 2021, in Washington Hospital.
She was born November 17, 1948, in Washington, a daughter of the late Paul K. and Ellen Saw Frazier.
Barb was a graduate of Trinity High School and had last been employed at Sam’s Club prior to her retirement. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Washington, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191 in Canonsburg, formerly with the Ladies Auxiliary of Post 902 American Legion in Houston and a life member of the Arms Club in Washington.
Barb was an avid reader who had a heart of gold. She had a quick wit and always a joke. She was a true character.
On November 17, 2011, she married James R. Hatfield, who survives.
Left behind to cherish her memory, in addition to her husband, are her beloved children, Thomas J. (Lori) Moore Jr. of Washington and Amy S. (Jason D.) Boyd of Waynesburg; six grandchildren, Daniel Doran, Jacob and Adam Boyd, Autumn and Stephanie Moore and Brittany Cox; two sisters, Susan P. (Dan) Strope Paul of Avella and Joanne M. (James) Johnson of Independence; three brothers, Paul K. (Donna) Frazier Jr. of Campbell, N.Y., Michael A. Frazier of Washington and Daniel S. (Darcy) Frazier of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, LFD owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 9. Interment will follow at 11 a.m. in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
