Mildred J. Bell, 90, of Washington, died Friday, June 4, 2021, in Transitions Health Care, Washington.

She was born October 3, 1930, in Claysville, a daughter of the late Harley and Ngola Clark Jones.

Mrs. Bell was a 1949 graduate of Claysville High School and went on to work as an accountant for Jessop Steel for 35 years, retiring in 1983.

She enjoyed crafting as a hobby and attended Avery United Methodist Church.

On October 22, 1960, in Claysville, she married Leonard G. Bell, who died May 30, 1998.

Surviving are Leonard’s son, Ronald Bell of Washington; Leonard’s two daughters, Eva Lee (Bill) Johnson of Washington and Linda Garrett of Canonsburg; a sister, Ruby (George) Miller of West Finley; many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, step-great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are Leonard’s daughter, Lois Sinclair; Leonard’s son, William Bell; and her good friend, Glenn A. Wright.

All services will be private. Memorial contributions may be directed to Avery United Methodist Church, 1100 Gabby Avenue, #5916, Washington, PA 15301 or to the charity of one’s choice.
