Phyllis Lee Bonner Rudy Watson

Phyllis Lee Bonner Rudy Watson, 79, of Bulger, formerly of Langeloth, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 13, 2021, in Washington Hospital.

She was born January 24, 1942, a daughter of the late Stewart and Nancy McGinnis Bonner.

After finishing cosmetology and beauty school, she was the owner of Phillis’s Beauty Boutique, which she started in Burgettstown and later moved to her home in Langeloth. She enjoyed gardening, her dog, Coco and most of all being with her family.

Her husband, Nelson A. Rudy, whom she married May 29, 1958, survives.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her four children, Jodi Stevens and husband Robert of Langeloth, Theresa Williams and husband Joe of Burgettstown, Lisa Rupani and husband Damon of Burgettstown, and Richard Rudy of Burgettstown; seven grandchildren, Ty Keith, Robert Stevens Jr., Sonnie Jo Sadler and husband Alan, Darcie Musick and husband Nick, Mia Lynn Rupani, Nina Rudy and Gauge Rudy; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol Albert and husband Joseph of Monroeville; and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, is her son, Charles Rudy; two sisters, Wilma Cross and Earlene Strowmatt; and two brothers, Bud and Clyde Bonner.

To honor Phyllis’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.
