Kathleen Ann Steuernagel Schultz, 55, of Washington, died unexpectedly Friday, June 11, 2021, in her home, surrounded by family.

She was born January 31, 1966, in Washington, a daughter of the late Anntoinette Calabro Steuernagel.

Ms. Schultz was a 1983 graduate of Trinity High School, and went on to work in several retail shops, Target being her most recent employment.

She loved swimming and especially loved sharing time with her four grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, Kalvin Schultz of Washington and Christian (Holly Stinson) Schultz of Perryopolis; a daughter, Sharlene Schultz of Washington; two brothers, David A. (Peggy) Steuernagel and Wilfred Steuernagel, both of Washington; three sisters, Mary Jo (Jeff Cumer) Boyd of Canonsburg, Mickey (Bill) Harniston of Avella and Susie (Jeff) Newton of Monroe, N.C.; four grandchildren, Anniston, Poet, Jett and Kendrick Schultz; former husband Karl Schultz; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are four siblings.

Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m., the hour of services, Saturday, June 19, in the Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Joe DiDonato officiating. All other services will be private.
