Emily Jane Buxton
Emily Jane “Minx” Buxton, 74, of Washington, formerly of Independence, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021, in Premier Washington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
She was born March 29, 1947, in Wheeling, W.Va., a daughter of the late George William Buxton III and Alexandria Koterba Buxton.
Emily was a member of Independence Methodist Church.
Surviving are her brother, George W. “Bill” Buxton IV and his wife, Roseanne of Wellsburg, W.Va.; and numerous cousins.
The family would like to thank Emily’s caregiver, Missy.
Funeral services are private. Burial will be in Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg.
