Shirley Ann Ewing Dillon
Shirley Ann Ewing Dillon, 90, of Wooster, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Brookdale in Wooster. She was born August 9, 1930, in Wayne County, a daughter of Guy J. and Louise Lawton Ewing.
Shirley was broker/owner of Landes & Landes Real Estate for 35 years and was a member of Jeromesville Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a member of the National Association of Realtors, Ohio Association of Realtors, Wayne Holmes Association of Realtors, Ashland Board of Realtors and a life member of the Women’s Auxiliary Jerome Post #749. She also taught piano for 50 years in the Jeromesville area and was a member of Quota Club for many years. Shirley loved selling real estate – it was her passion. It was never a job to her, instead it was what she lived to do. She only just “retired” in January of this year.
She is survived by two sons, Carl (Priscilla) Siegenthaler and Jeff (Mariafe) Siegenthaler, all of Jeromesville, Ohio; a daughter, LeeAnn Poth of Wooster; five grandchildren, Jason, John, Guy, Molly and Logan; nine greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Treva Croskey of Knoxville, Tenn., and Sara Smith of Washington; and two brothers, Alan Ewing of Norwalk, Ohio, and Gail Ewing of San Carlos, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, June 26, in Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville, with Pastor Jerry Rhea officiating. Burial will be in Reedsburg Cemetery for family only please.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 25, in the funeral home.
