Roger L. Fisher Sr.
Roger L. Fisher Sr., 75, of Washington, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021, following a brief illness.
He was born September 12, 1945, in Cumberland, Maryland, a son of the late John Edward and Helen Elaine Pletcher Fisher.
Mr. Fisher was a 1963 graduate of Fort Cherry High School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War before being honorably discharged.
Mr. Fisher was employed for 30 years as an electrician at Washington Mold from where he retired.
Mr. Fisher was Christian by faith and was a member of several clubs and organizations throughout the Washington area. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his friends and family and will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
His late wife, Patricia L. Fisher, passed away December 3, 2018.
Surviving are a son, Roger L. (Angela) Fisher Jr. of Claysville; four sisters, Brenda (Robert Jr.) Jordan of Washington, Karen (Michael) Willard of Washington, Bonnie (Shannon) Russ of South Carolina and Alison (Greg) Musgrave of Washington; and two granddaughters, Kaitlin and Abby Fisher. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
