Kathryn JoAnn Reed, 75, of Washington, received her angel wings and went home to be with her Jesus, Tuesday, March 9, 2021, in Woodside Place of Washington.

She was born August 14, 1945, in Lancaster, Ohio, a daughter of the late Herbert and Margaret Eastman.

Mrs. Reed was a graduate of Elmira High School in Elmira, N.Y. She later graduated from Potsdam University of N.Y.

She was an active member of Central Assembly of God, Houston, where she will be missed by her church family.

Mrs. Reed worked as a music teacher in the Trinity Area School District for many years, from where she retired.

In December 1976, she married the love of her life, Roger Reed, who died August 16, 2011.

Surviving are a stepson, Merle Reed of Washington; three stepdaughters, Debbie (Joe) Curnarski of Strabane, Connie (David) Rice of Bentlyville and Tracy (Randy) Duncan; a brother, Steven (Martha) Eastman, of Raleigh, N.C.; five grandchildren, Cameron Reed, Jesse Rice, Serena Ealy, Richard Balach, Angel Reed; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Deceased, in addition to her husband, are a brother, William Eastman; and a grandson, Cody Reed.

All services are private.

The family would like to thank the staffs of Woodside Place of Washington and Gateway Hospice, especially Vesta, who all did a great job of loving her.
