William J. Bordo

William J. Bordo, 75, of McDonald, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley – Beaver.
William was born April 22, 1945, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Frank and Anna Semko Bordo.
Mr. Bordo was a retired shop teacher for Burrell School District. He loved being involved within his two sons’ lives, and was always interested in what his kids were. William was constantly playing sports with his sons, participating in Boy Scouts, hunting, or whatever they needed from him. Mr. Bordo was the perfect example of how to be a good father and husband.
Surviving are his loving wife of 39 years, Mary Bernens Bordo of McDonald; sons Joshua (Chelsey) Bordo of Hanover Township and Mark (Courtney) Bordo of Massachusetts; granddaughter Hannah Bordo; and siblings Joanne Behling of South Fayette Township, Robert Bordo of Clinton and John (Roween) Bordo of McDonald.
Along with his parents, William was preceded in death by three brothers, George Bordo, Frank Bordo Jr. and Joseph Bordo.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 27, in Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald (724-926-2800).
