Edward J. Daniels, 91, of McDonald, passed Wednesday, March 24, 2021.
He was born April 20, 1929 in McDonald, a son of the late Rupert and Teresa Whalen Daniels.
Mr. Daniels was a graduate of McDonald High School. He served in the United States Army then worked for National Steel in Weirton as a welder.
On September 24, 1966, he married, Sylvia Zitko who passed March 26, 2005.
Mr. Daniels was a member of St. Isidore the Farmer Parish; St. Alphonsus worship site McDonald, McDonald Rod and Gun club, and the McDonald VFW post 485.
Edward enjoyed woodworking.
Surviving is a step-daughter, Cheryl Matyaz DeFigio of Bridgeville; a brother, Richard (Helen) Daniels of McDonald; two sisters, Flavia Lucarini of McDonald and Ruth Ann (Sam) Gentile of Tarentum; many nieces and nephews and great – nieces and nephews.
Deceased are six brothers, Regis, Arthur, Leo, William, Paul and Carl Daniels; two sisters, Mildred Cowden and Margaret Albertini.
Family will receive friends from 11 to 1 p.m. on Friday, March 26, at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, PA. 15057. A blessing service will follow the visitation on Friday at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery Moon Twp.
