James Thomas Moore Sr.
James Thomas Moore Sr., 75, of Washington, formerly of Hickory, passed away surrounded by family Monday, March 29, 2021. Born May 8, 1945, he was a son of the late Alice and Verner Moore.
He was the longtime companion to Patricia Moore; loving father to James Moore Jr., Rana (Rich) Cooper and Rhonda Moore; cherished grandfather to Thomas “TJ”, Zachary, Makayla, Lynnsie, and James Moore III, and Jeffrey (deceased), Richie, Ronnie, Robbie, Ryan, Rafe, Leif, and Chance Cooper, and Jacob and Joshua Moore; loving great-grandfather to 11 great-grandkids.
James got his nickname, “Putt” because he was always “putsying” around with things. He was truly a jack-of-all-trades and loved to work on cars and play guitar. He will be dearly missed.
A service will be held privately. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5446.
