Denise C. Elliott
Denise C. Elliott, 65, of Lone Pine, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, April 27, 2021, surrounded by her family.
She was born October 1, 1955, in Washington, a daughter of Frank and Josephine Deichler Pintar.
Denise was a 1973 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and later received her Licensed Practical Nurse certificate from Western Area Vocational Technical School.
She attended Chartiers-Hill United Presbyterian Church and was a member of the SNPJ (Slovene National Benefit Society) Lodge in Strabane.
Denise loved spending time with her family and enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening.
On July 22, 1974, she married the love of her life, Ronald D. Elliott, who passed away May 29, 2011, following 36 years of marriage.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald D. Elliott II (Lisa) of Houston and Jack Elliott of Amity; a daughter, Casey Caltuna of Houston; eight grandchildren, Shayla Elliott (D.J. Lloyd), Brandie Elliott (Jerel McBride), Andrew, Jacob and Aiden Elliott, and Paige, Matthew and Madison Caltuna; five great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Auraelya, Everleigh, Jeremiah and Jocelyn; two brothers, Frank Pintar Jr. (Cris) of Virginia Beach, Va., and Dennis Pintar of Amity; and a daughter in her heart, Casey Gonzales of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a sister, Virginia Pintar; and a son-in-law, Nicholas Caltuna.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 3, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 3. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
