Rosemary V. Morgan Mayer, 81, formerly of Beaver County, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021, after a brief battle with cancer in Georgia, where she resided for the last seven years with her daughter, Mia.

She was born January 4, 1940, a daughter of the late Patrick J. Morgan Sr. and late Josephine V. Gaydos. Rosemary was a graduate of McDonald High School in 1957.

She was the beloved wife of 45 years to the late Robert J. Mayer Sr., who passed in 2004.

Rosemary’s proudest accomplishment in life was raising her four children, whom she loved with all her heart and soul. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and watching them raise their families.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Connie Allison; and her sister-in-law, Shirley Diamond.

Surviving Rosemary are four children, Bob Mayer Jr. and wife Tammy of Daugherty Township, Pat Mayer Sr. and wife Sandi of South Beaver Township, Mia Mayer of Rincon, Ga., and Dan Mayer and wife Aimee of Chippewa Township. She also leaves nine grandchildren, Jessica, Chelsea, Patrick Jr., Charlie, Sarah, Samantha, Jacob, Lainey, Brady; and also 10 great-grandchildren, Angelo, Gianni, Roman, Santino, Leah, Sarahlynn, Wyatt, Kal, Elijah and Everleigh. Rosemary is also survived by her brother, Patrick J. Morgan Jr. of McDonald; brother-in-law, Nick Diamond of Kyle, Texas, brother-in-law, Ken Allison of McDonald; a niece, Rita; nephews, Tom, Ken, Dave and Denny; and a lifelong best friend, Carol Laughner.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 6, in the Gabauer-Lutton Funeral Home, 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls, www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com, and from 10 until the time of service at 11 a.m. Friday, May 7, with Pastor Greg Clagg officiating.

Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Burgettstown.
