William H. Reed
William H. “Bill” Reed, 82, of Avella, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021, in Valley Oaks Care Center, East Liverpool, Ohio.
He was born March 17, 1939, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, a son of the late Walter and Kathryn Florence Harmon Reed.
Bill was a certified electrician and enjoyed doing electrical work for various customers in the area.
He liked to socialize with friends and family and especially loved his time with his great-grandchildren and his dog Tonka.
On July 24, 1990, he married Gertrude Katherine Prevost Chechuck, who died October 31, 2011.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna (Ron) Miller of Georgetown; stepson, Charbo (Stacy) Chechuck; five grandchildren, Rachael (Charlie) Daniels, Courtney and Chase Miller, Austin and Shania Chechuck; eight great-grandchildren, Kieara, Derek, Sophia, Landon, Aleah, Alainah, Mathias and Eliana; and his dear cousin whom he enjoyed spending time with, Rudelle Fisher.
Deceased, in addition to his wife and parents, are a son, Terry Reed; and a brother, Walter Reed Jr.
Friends and family will be received from 10 am to noon Monday, May 3, in the Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home Inc., 18 Campbell Street, Avella, PA 15312, followed by interment in Forest Lawn Gardens, 3739 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317.
