Richard Lee Teegarden
Richard Lee “Rich” Teegarden, 83, of Washington, died Saturday, May 1, 2021, in Premier Washington Health Center.
He was born July 5, 1937, in Washington, a son of the late George and Ruth Anna Robinson Teegarden.
Rich graduated from Trinity High School and was a dairy farmer.
He enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles, watching football and baseball, and listening to music, especially church music.
He attended Calvary Baptist Church.
Rich will be missed by his siblings. He leaves behind brothers Howard H. Teegarden of Washington and Robert W. (Peg) Teegarden of Washington; sisters Audrey R. (Tom) Sims of Belle Vernon, Doris A Hallermiere of Tennessee and Janet M. (the late Jim) Thomas of Washington; nieces and nephews Tommy, Luann, Eddie, Stevie, Donnie, Carmie, Marla, Scott, Roxanne, Deanna, Lori, Jodi, Heidi, Ami, Bob “BJ”, Marsha, Jean, Becky; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and a special cousin, Elaine Randall.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Wilma “Jean” Sensky; and nephew Ronnie.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, May 5, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Fred McCloskey officiating.
