Theodore David Wilkins, 73, of Dayton, Ohio, formerly of Washington, passed away May 3, 2021, after a lengthy illness.

He was born September 3, 1947, in Washington, a son of Vera Fullum Wilkins and the late Jeff David “J.D.” Wilkins.

Mr. Wilkins was a 1964 graduate of Trinity High School.

He was a retired dry wall finisher, and in his free time he loved to read.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a son, Terrance D. Wilkins of Washington; two daughters, Anissa Asbury of Washington and Maurica Moore of Pittsburgh; a brother, Jeffrey (Venus) Wilkins of Canonsburg; a sister, Karen (Charles) Crouser of Washington; five grandchildren, Nathaniel Brice, Jasmine and Tyreese Wilkins and Alaysia and Darion Thompson; two great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Benjamin Bailey; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and a special aunt, Jean Anderson.

Deceased are two sons, Theodore Wilkins Jr. and Kristopher Wilkins; a daughter, Lurrie Wilkins; a sister, Patricia Bailey; a granddaughter, Alexis Barnett; and his former wife, Renae Saunders Wilkins.
