Frank Richard “Dick” Bonifield, 85, of Peters Township, passed away peacefully Friday, May 7, 2021.

Born October 24, 1935, he was a son of the late Edith and Frank Bonifield.

He was the beloved husband of Frankie Bonifield for 62 years; loving father of Bradley R. (Mary Lynn) Bonifield of Canonsburg, Brent D. (Patricia) Bonifield of Cecil and Blaine B. (Kim) Bonifield of Canonsburg; cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and dear brother of Bonnie L. (the late William) Smith of Peters Township.

Dick attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, for four years. Later he was the proud business owner of Alpha-Omega Shelving, Inc. for more than 40 years.

He was a devout and active member of South Hills Assembly for many years. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 10, in Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. A celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 11, in South Hills Assembly of God, 2725 Bethel Church Road, Bethel Park, PA 15102. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.
