Jean Yanni
Jean Yanni, 89, of Washington, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021, peacefully, in the Presbyterian Home in Washington. She was born August 2, 1931, in Washington, a daughter of the late Ben and Rose Rotunda Audia.
Mrs. Yanni was a graduate of Trinity High School. She married the late Anthony S. Yanni September 7, 1953.
Mrs. Yanni was a homemaker and business partner with her husband, Anthony S. Yanni, at Washington Importing. Her early work years were spent working in her family’s establishment, Audia’s Tavern in Washington.
Mrs. Yanni’s passions were cooking and baking for her family. She enjoyed music, chair yoga, bingo and current events time at the Presbyterian Home.
Surviving are her son, Anthony Yanni of Washington; her beloved grandson, Anthony P. Yanni of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, Anthony S. Yanni; and a daughter, Christine Yanni; sisters Theresa Frank, Katherine Oliverio and Mary Russo.
