Barbara Ann Holmes Cage
Barbara Ann Holmes Cage, 66, of Washington, died Saturday, May 8, 2021, in The Washington Hospital.
She was born August 31, 1954, in Washington, a daughter of the late Carl Holmes and Opal McBee Holmes.
Ms. Cage was a homemaker and wonderful cook who previously worked as a machine operator at West Penn Wire.
An avid Elvis fan, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s sporting events and dirt bike races, playing cards and bingo, going to the casino, and visiting family in West Virginia.
Surviving are a son, Delbert (Theresa) Cage Jr.; her fiance, Dave Conaway; a daughter, Renee Conaway Leap; three grandchildren, Delbert Cage III, Nicholas Cage and Preston Holt; sister-in-law Ruth Ann Holmes; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were all of her siblings, Jim, Jack, Carl Jr., Tom and Walter Holmes, Erma Grey, Evelyn Morris, and Mary Georgie Holmes, who died in infancy.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m., the time of service, Thursday, May 13, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Linda Mankey officiating.
