George A. Maers
George A. “GA” Maers, 80, of Venetia, passed away, with family by his side, Saturday, May 8, 2021. Born October 8, 1940, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of George and Edna Maers.He was the beloved husband of Joyce Maers; loving father of Jackie (Jeff) Dickey and Justin Reed; grandfather of Cassy Dickey and Travis Dickey; and brother of Donald (Barb) Maers.
He was a proud veteran and member of American Legion Post 949, and a member of Pittsburgh CARS club. GA enjoyed car cruises, gardening, hunting and his hot rod.
There will be a service at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors at a later date.
