Anthony C. “Tony” Molinaro Jr., 77, of Washington, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021. He was born July 16, 1943, in Washington, a son of the late Anthony C. and Mary Skittle Molinaro Sr.

Tony was a 1961 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School, where he played basketball and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. He served in the Army National Guard.

Tony was employed at Jessop Steel (Allegheny Ludlum) for 39 years up until his retirement in 2002.

He was very instrumental in helping others in recovery in the Washington area. He would always tell people that he was living “Another Day In Paradise.”

Tony coached midget football at the Brownson House, coached Washington Youth Baseball and was an assistant junior varsity basketball coach at Immaculate Conception High School.

Following his retirement, he worked part time at Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, where he enjoyed being around and helping people. He liked to dance, enjoyed family vacations and working in his yard. Tony enjoyed Christmas, decorating the Christmas tree and putting up Christmas lights and decorations outside. Most of all, he enjoyed traveling to spend time with his granddaughter, Samantha, who was the love of his life.

On May 27, 1967, he married Valerie A. “Val” Angotti, who died February 27, 2020.

Surviving are a son, Anthony S. “Tony” (Kristen) Molinaro of Gibsonia; two sisters, Carol (Kenneth) Berdine of Eighty Four and Linda (Ron) Luisi of Washington; and a granddaughter, Samantha Molinaro. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Mr. Molinaro was preceded in death by his twin brother, Sam Molinaro.

All funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenue, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor / director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director.
